Perhaps the most distinctive landmark at Kolymbia is the long straight road with enormous eucalyptus trees, lined on both sides that connects the main road with the beach.
If you have family with small children then the smaller beach is perhaps the better choice for you. Apart from its shallow waters the fine yellow sand is ideal for the children to spend their time building castles.

Buses from Kolymbia to Rhodes
Buses run fairly regularly from Rhodes Town to Lindos and vice versa and any will pick up/set down in Kolymbia which sits astride the route.
From Lindos, buses for Rhodes Town usually depart at 07:30, 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 15:30 and 18:00 (approx arrival in Kolymbia around 25-30 mins later).
Coming back from Rhodes Town, they depart at 09:00, 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30 and 19:30 and take around 30 mins to reach Kolymbia.
Find the bus stop on the main road and there should be a list of times attached.
